I am passionate about rugby, my family, Arcaz Antiques , and food and drink (especially port), although these are not listed in any particular order! I started work in the family wholesale meat and farming business. My parents, Sally and Fred, then opened their first antique shop in the mid sixties in Preston. I have been in the antiques business in one form or another ever since. My preference is for antique furniture, mahogany or rosewood, Georgian ,Regency Victorian and Edwardian,  together with other quirky, decorative and unusual antique pieces.

I am an optometrist by profession and have run my own business, situated in Nottinghamshire close to the Derbyshire border, for the last thirty years. Since meeting my husband in 1995, I have grown to share his passion for antiquesand in particularly Arts and Crafts furniture,, but not particularly rugby, whilst he supports my various activities including my passion for being a Reader at our local church.

The Arcaz Team: Fred and Janet make a dynamic partnership, and at the Arcaz Antiques shop, Fred leads the sales team whilst Janet oversees the administrative roles. With Rona, Nicola, Tracey and Janet working throughout the week, the full Arcaz Antiques team aim to meet the needs of clients and dealers alike.
